Centaury is traditionally used to add silver highlights to white or grey/silver hair. We selected Centaurea cyanus L. because it is rich in cyanocentaureine. Cultivated in the Southwest of France according to certified organic farming methods, the flowers are dried away from the sunlight to preserve the quality of its pigments.Formulated for white, grey & platinium Blonde hair, this shampoo cleanses hair and reduces any yellowing effect while adding subtle silver highlights, thanks to cyancentaurein, a vegetal pigment with blue hues. Hair becomes soft, easy to style and reveals all its beauty and radiance. Complementary colours neutralize their opposite, which is why purple/blue shampoos are recommended to counteract the yellowing of white hair. However, synthetic dyes tend to stain and can leave hair feeling dry.
